Darrick Bouldin, known to the kids as Coach D, was born and raised in the Bronx and has been a fan of basketball since he could walk. Growing up on the playgrounds, Coach D developed his game and was a stand out in the programs he played for throughout his youth and teenage years. Joining Gladiators in 2013, his love for the game and the kids landed him an assistant coach position under Coach Tony with the 8U squad. Over the summer of 2014 he took over as the head coach for the 8U and 10U teams.
