Adrian Davis was born in Mt. Vernon, N.Y. on November 20, 1967. She was raised in the Bronx, N.Y. where she attended the NYC public school system. As a teenager, she was active in church and school activities where she learned the importance of being a team player. Adrian was a member of the Borough Wide Chorus and part of Evander Child High School's Varsity Cheerleading Squad. Adrian attended Mercy College where she majored in Sociology and Child Psychology and minored in Childhood Education. She currently works at MS 180 in Co-op City. Adrian is still active in church and she is a member of the teaching staff for the youth division.
Adrian became associated with Gladiator Sports in 1999 when she and her husband Barry enrolled their son, Mike, into the Saturday Basketball program at Kennedy Center. Adrian was Mike's biggest cheerleader as she attended every game. When Gladiator Sports was established in 2002, Adrian was asked to join the cheerleader coaching team. Adrian was extremely excited. Adrian is a dynamic individual with several years of cheerleader experience which was quite evident from watching her girls in competition. She was a big part of why the Gladiator Sports Cheerleader program had been so successful. We at Gladiator Sports are proud and honored to have Adrian Davis inducted into the Gladiator Sports Hall of Fame.
